These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Direct4x4 Manufacturing Ltd (Company No. 3472240) Unit 2, Masons Place Business Park, Nottingham Rd. Derby DE21 6YZ, to the customer named on the order form. The contract (sale) is governed by and subject to UK law.
All orders are classed as accepted once the order has been dispatched. Any correspondence before dispatch is simply an acknowledgement of receipt of the order.
We accept credit card and debit card payments, either on the website or over the phone (01332 601016). You can also pay using paypal or bank transfer.
We do not accept payment by cheque or postal orders.
1.1 Delivery is within 3-5 working days to the UK, outside of the UK, delivery is within 5-10 working days.
1.2 Direct 4x4 takes responsibility for the delivery of the item to you in good condition, upon receipt of your goods it is your responsibility to check your item for any damage and notify us as soon as possible.
1.3 We will notify you via email, that your parcel has been dispatched the day that it leaves.
1.4 Tracking information is provided, however our larger items are not trackable outside of the UK. Roof racks and OE style side steps etc can take up to 10 working days for delivery to some European countries.
1.5 If your parcel has been dispatched and you are not in to receive the item, the couriers will attempt re-delivery. If you're not in on the 2nd attempt and the parcel is returned to us you will be charged up to and including £45 per delivery attempt including the original attempt to delivery your parcel, for the service we have arranged. Some of the couriers will attempt to leave your parcel with a neighbour, but you are not guaranteed a phone call to say the courier is on his way to your house.
1.6 If the couriers have attempted delivery but are unable to deliver for whichever reason, your express delivery charge will not be refunded as circumstances outside of our control prevented delivery, which we cannot be held responsible for.
1.7 For some small items that are being sent out as replacements we will send them to a UPS access point, this is to ensure that you do not have to wait in for these items. There are 3,000 of these nation wide so one will be in your area for you to go to the shop to collect your parcel. Nothing longer than 80 cm, having a 330 cm girth or weighing more than 20kgs will be sent to the access points due to space restraints.
1.8 Replacement or missing parts will also be sent to your local UPS access point to ensure that you do not have to wait in for these items, saving you a lost day of work.
1.9 Access points will also be used for some returns at our discretion.
1.10 If you commission a 3rd party courier chosen by yourself and not through Direct4x4 the responsibility for the item is no longer with Direct 4x4 once it has passed to the courier commissioned by yourself. Hence please arrange for your courier to check the item for damage at the time of delivery to them.
2.1 We are confident that you will be pleased with your product. If you are not totally satisfied with your product, or you have any problems please contact Customer Services on 01332 601016.
2.2 It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations please contact customer services on 01332 601016.
2.3 We are not responsible for any fitting charges occurred whilst fitting products ordered from ourselves to your vehicle or any alterations that may be needed in doing so unless agreed in writing before time of fitment.
2.4 Please note that goods may differ in style to the original website information provided. If this is the case with your order, we will work with you to provide a proper solution, although we may not be able to supply the original style due to the manufacturer's alterations.
2.5 Please be aware that if an order is cancelled, or we receive notification of an order that you wish to cancel, and the order has already been processed and left our depot, we will not refund any shipping costs incurred for this order.
3.1 If you wish to return the item to us you have 14 working days (this will be extended to the next working day if 14 days ends on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday) to notify us of your intention to return the goods.
3.2 Once returned to the address below Direct 4x4 will refund you in full minus any charges that may apply. Please see below.
3.2.1 This policy does not apply to bespoke dishes and trade customers.
3.2.2 Express delivery charges are non-refundable.

You are responsible for the return of goods to us in a saleable condition. If the value of the item has been diminished by use, fitting to a vehicle, or beyond what might reasonably be expected (ie - soiled, scratched, not returned in the original packaging) a deduction will be made from the refund.
3.4 All return costs for carriage and postal costs of the item back to us at the above address will be at the customers expense. Any outward postage costs (excluding express delivery) will be refunded along with the refund of the item.
3.5 Small size trim items are best returned through Royal Mail using a signed for service, at your expense.
3.6 Medium size items (side steps, rear bars) are best returned via courier at your expense, alternatively Direct4x4 can arrange collection for £45, (this applies to mainland UK only, for Highlands and Islands including Northern Ireland you will need to request a quote from Direct4x4).
3.7 Large size items (Roof Racks, Roll Bars) are best returned via courier at your expense, alternatively Direct4x4 can arrange collection for £60, (this applies to mainland UK only, for Highlands and Islands including Northern Ireland you will need to request a quote from Direct4x4).
3.8 The goods remain the property of Direct 4x4 until paid for in full.
